Outcome-Wide Exposome Association Study
This web application can be used to query and download findings from the Outcome-Wide Exposome Association Study conducted in the Human Early Life Exposome (HELIX) project, including 586 mother-child pairs from 6 European cohorts in the UK, France, Spain, Lithuania, Norway and Greece (https://www.projecthelix.eu), with data on environmental exposures during pregnancy and childhood (6-11 years), and health outcomes covering 4 health domains (mental, cardiometabolic, respiratory, allergy) during childhood (6-11 years) and adolescence (12-18 years).
Employing an innovative outcome-wide exposome approach, we jointly estimated prospective associations between a broad spectrum of 198 prenatal and childhood environmental exposures and 11 health outcomes assessed at two developmental stages. This serves as a unique and comprehensive resource on the multifaceted health impacts of environmental exposures during critical early life stages. Our catalogue
In this study, besides the innovative Outcome-wide Exposome approach, we also conducted traditional Exposome-Wide Association Studies (ExWASs) for each assessed health outcome. To download results from each approach, please, click on the links below.
